A 13-year-old boy was shot while playing basketball in the Bronx on Thursday evening.
According to law enforcement sources, the teen shot himself in his left knee at around 5:45 p.m. on the court at Hunts Point Playground in Felle Street and Hunts Point Avenue.
The shooter fled the spot and was still absconding.
The young victim was expected to recover from the shooting in broad daylight.
Sources said that Kishor was probably the target in the shooting.
This is the second time in less than a week that a teenager has been shot at a city playground.
A 16-year-old girl was shot in the head by a stray bullet while hanging out with friends after school last Friday in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn.
In the Brooklyn shooting, police were still searching for three suspects who fled the scene on Citi Bikes.
Kyla Sobers, a junior at the Cobble Hill School of American Studies, was recovering from the incident, her uncle told The Post.
