Daniel Jones won his second career NFC Offensive Player of the Week award. his first? This came in his NFL debut against the Bucs in 2019. It took a while for Jones to have a monster game, as he did in New Orleans. Can he convert 402 yards and a big first win of the season into a decent run with the Big Blue going 3-1 in a tough divisional matchup against the Cowboys?
To preview that game in Dallas, we bring you a new episode of the “Blue Rush” podcast with Lawrence Tynes and Paul Schwartz. In the second part of the pod, Paul and I interview Tynes about growing up in Scotland, playing football, how he became a kicker and which of the two legendary Super Bowl teams he liked more.
Blue Rush Podcast with Paul, Lawrence and Jake:
- Jones: This is a worthwhile reward for them. It could make him through the rest of the season. He has played well and has avoided turning the ball too much. However, the Giants need to get the game going this week.
- Defense: The defense has been a bit concerned. The Giants especially need to race as many passes as possible against Dak Prescott. He’s been a Giants killer and they haven’t won in Dallas in five years.
- Giants-Cowboys Preview: The Giant’s defense against the explosive cowboy offense has its work cut out for it. Lawrence believes the Cowboys are due for a weekend and thinks the Giants have won. Me and Paul take the cowboys. Takes all the giants.
- Interview Lawrence: Paul and I interview Lawrence about growing up in Scotland, playing football, moving to Florida, moving to Troy State, how football came to high school, and which Giants Super Bowl team he loved the most.
