Revelation return for part 3 on Netflix?

Kevin Smith’s animated reboot, Masters of the Universe: Revelation, has debuted Part 2 of its first season, and we find out if the series will return for Part 3.

Beginning with his first appearance on the small screen in 1983, Masters of the Universe returned with Masters of the Universe: Revelation – a direct sequel to the 80s show.

This modern look gives the characters we know and love more humanity, while the protagonist, He-Man, once again faces a chuckling skeleton to protect the universe.

Will Revelation return for Masters of the Universe: Part 3?

At the time of writing, Masters of the Universe: Revelation has not been renewed or canceled by Netflix.

The streaming platform either flags off the second season well before the conclusion of the first season or about a month or two after the first season ends.

Fans will have to wait until the end of the year or possibly next year to find out whether the show will return for Part 3.

That being said, creator Kevin Smith already has a full second season, leaving the power of the sword in the hands of Netflix.

When can we expect to see Masters of the Universe: Revelation Part 3?

The premiere of Part 3 depends on a few factors: if Netflix gives it the green light, when the platform announces renewals, and how far behind the scenes it is with Part 3 production.

If Part 3 gets approved in early 2022, fans of the show can expect to see a new chapter in late 2022 or early 2023.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation Episode Format

There has been some confusion over the episode format of Masters of the Universe: Revelation, but we can dispel it.

The recently released Masters of the Universe: Revelation Part 2 is actually the second part of Season 1. This means that part 3 will be the first part of season 2.

While it’s not a common format for Netflix shows, we’re starting to see more elaborate release patterns across the platform β€” using the arcane’s three-act structure as an example.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation Part 2 is now streaming on Netflix.
